What Do We Do?

Contracts with insurance providers: VšZP, Dôvera, Union

We provide professional healthcare for adult patients.

We work in two main fields. We consult patients referred from GPs, or other medical specialists. In some patients, diagnosed with chronic lung disease, we provide long term follow up (e.g. COPD, asthma,  lung fibrosis, TB, sarcoidosis, etc.).

Medical Services Offered at the Clinic

NIOX (inflammometry)

Measuring the intensity of allergic inflammation in the lower airways.

Spirometry

It is a common office test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale.

Other testing and screening investigation

Tuberculin skin testing of students before foreign student exchange, Preventive screening investigation, Transfer factor measuring, Lung function testing, etc.

Online management

You can make the appointment via the service Online Management: this is an „above standard“ service. After accepting offered conditions and payment the patient receives access to a calendar, where he can choose the date of appointment on his own. He can also consult pulmonologist via email in 1 year period. He also communicates the results of his tests or imaging procedures via email, or other communication platform.

Requirements For Entry

From September 02th, 2021 we are asking our patients to demonstrate that he or she meets the requirements for entry into our outpatient clinic, which are one of following: Vaccination, PCR test or Having Covid-19 in the past.

Vaccation against COVID-19

Vaccination is proven by a Vaccation certificate.

Past Disease

Patient proves that he/she has had a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease and no more than 180 days have passed.

PCR Test

Patient proves that has undergone a RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus with a negative result no more 72 hours ago.

Outpatient clinic for lung diseases and TB was opened in august 2020. You can find it in „A tract“ of the building of „Poliklinika Strečnianska“, 13 Strečnianska St. at the – 1. floor. There is a separate entrance from the parking place. The aim of the clinic is to provide a high quality of care for patients with acute, as well as chronic lung diseases.

Languages: We speakenglish and german, foreign patients are welcome.

Before the First Appointment, Please Check:

From September 2th, 2021, we require every patient to demonstrate that he or she meets the requirements for entry into our outpatient clinic; by proving vaccination against COVID-19, or negative PCR test not older than 72 hours or proving that he/she has had a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease Covid-19 during last 180 days.
Please, check if you have the refferal from GP or a specialist. Without this, you can be examined on your cost.
If you have your radiological documentation, we mean CD with chest X ray or CT, please take it. The description from a radiologist is not sufficient. If you did not have any chest X ray or CT before, this is not your case.
We recommend you to write down the list of your daily medication.
If you have reports from other specialists, or if you have some other chronic disease.
Patients must make an appointment via telephone, email or online management first. In case of a referral as an „acute case“ please call or sms us first (+421 948 872 892) , before you enter the waiting room and we discuss, how to help you in a very short time.
